Position Summary:

This role is more than a BARTENDER, it is the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food and drinks. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service and making sure they have a positive experience at our restaurant! We are counting on you to be an extension for our brand. 

The BARTENDER is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced, customer focused environment. This role requires strong knowledge of mixology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality service. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Craft our delicious unique cocktails, while educating, interacting and connecting with our guests through the food, beverage and culture
  • Set the ambiance (music, lights, cleanliness, etc) of the bar area for an enjoyable and memorable guest experience
  • Assess needs to ensure guest satisfaction and make recommendations to enhance flavor profiles with appropriate food and drink pairings
  • Prep and restock inventory, garnishes and juices to ensure no shortages during the shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools and equipment
  • Be personable, always greet patrons, engage with a positive attitude and make an effort to remember regulars
  • Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer to customers to management when necessary
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Support and assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Team player + positive attitude
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills required
  • 6 + months of experience as a host
  • Service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to acquire a California Handler license, Sexual Harassment certification and RBS (alcohol) license (before or within 2 + weeks of hire date)
  • Bilingual is a plus
